Company History
Virtana was founded in 2008 with a mission of delivering the highest quality infrastructure monitoring and analytics to our customers. In the ensuing decade, more than 1000 of the world’s largest data centers have relied on our expertise in workload performance to solve their most critical IT performance and availability issues. Our unwavering commitment to our customers’ success has fueled our growth, and it continues to drive the ongoing development of our award-winning suite of our AI-powered hybrid infrastructure management products.
In March 2016, we merged with Load DynamiX, the leading workload performance analytics company. The Load DynamiX product suite was renamed to WorkloadWisdom in 2017. WorkloadWisdom provides unique insight into application workload performance that empowers IT professionals to optimize costs and assure performance by leveraging workload simulation to more intelligently deploy storage and cloud infrastructure.
In October 2016, we acquired Xangati, a leader in virtual and cloud infrastructure performance monitoring. In August of 2019, we acquired Metricly, a leader cloud performance monitoring and cost analysis.
