Our platform is used by top universities, foundations, and corporations around the world to provide social learning experiences to adult learners.
Social collaboration and peer learning are not only built into our product, but also the DNA of our company. We have a collaborative team with a passion for learning and an amazing culture. We are located in San Francisco’s SOMA district, 10 minutes walking distance from BART and Caltrain.

Company History
NovoEd was founded by two Stanford researchers on the Stanford campus. They were observing online companies and they were just seeing a lot of video content. There was no interaction with real people. One of the co-counders was raised in Iran and when she came to Stanford, one of the best things she found most important to her learning and progress was to be challenged by real people - professors and students.
They observed this deficiency in online learning. Education is getting so expensive but on the path to getting cheaper and more efficient, online learning was washing out the most important part - the social element. NovoEd has changed this!
We are seeing higher engagement and success – this is powering the ability for universities to teach inside corporations and to offer higher quality, more effective, and cheaper learning.
NovoEd has developed a platform to teach courses that were never before able to be taught online - such as Creativity, Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership Development. They have developed a platform to deliver top b-school courses to entire corporations - previously only available to the top 1% employee base. NovoEd is perfecting their core social collaboration platform that surpasses anything on the market today!
